While some car companies are going for fuel efficient cars, Volkswagen is looking for versatility in the new cars that they are going to launch at New York International Auto Show. Volkswagen has now announced that they will debut their all new Alltrack Concept Vehicle at the show that will impress many customers that want something better from their vehicles. The company said that this car will minimize the difference between passenger car and SUV and will have better features that can take on any terrain.
Volkswagen has provided more information about their new concept car that has a solid engine that is protected by under body guard made from steel plate. The plate will provide all the protection that the engine needs along with protection to gearbox, exhaust system and oil pan. On the outside, the car will have better exterior changes like matte chrome window surrounds, radiator grille trim strips and door mirror housing.
The company said that the car will have frugal 2.0 liter turbocharged TDI Clean Diesel engine that can produce 140 horsepower and 236 lb feet of torque. The engine will be coupled with six speed DSG dual clutch automatic transmission. It will also have 4Motion All Wheel Drive technology for off road driving.
